Queen Mary's Photograph Albums

With the permission of Her Majesty the Queen and the co-operation of the Curator of the Royal Photographic Collection at Windsor Castle, the author was given the opportunity of writing about the life and times of Queen Mary through the medium of her Late Majesty's personal photograph albums. Queen Mary started her photographic collection in 1880 and from then, until her death in 1953, she filled no fewer than 33 albums each containing approximately 300 photographs. Christopher Warwik is the author of the first authorized biography of Princess Margaret, "Abdiction" and "Their Royal Heghnesses the Duck and Duchess of York".
