Dr. Thomas R. Erdmann is Director of the Elon University Symphony Orchestra and Professor of Music and Education at Elon University in North Carolina. He holds a Doctor of Music Arts in Trumpet Performance with a minor in Music Theory from the School of Music at The University of Illinois in Urbana. Dr. Erdmann is also the Jazz Editor for the International Trumpet Guild Journal and on the Editorial Board of WomenArts Quarterly Journal. His publications currently stand at over 250 articles published in a wide variety of peer-reviewed/ professional scholarly journals.
