A celebration of all the elements of country Ireland, with 150 photographs and accompanying text. Laws shows how folk art and vernacular tradition were saved from oblivion both by the Arts and Crafts movement and by the modern heritage movement. Subjects covered include: Carrickmacross lace, Belleek porcelain, Aran knitwear and Waterford glass.
