Glenn Miller was one of the most successful and enduring names of the Big Band era, with many popular tunes such as 'In the Mood', 'Chattanooga Choo Choo' and 'Little Brown Jug'. In 1944, while travelling to entertain US troops in France, he disappeared. The story has always been that his plane crashed and his body was never found.
