Using illustrations, this book offers a description and information about dinosaurs; including facts and statistics.
"Extreme Dinosaurs" takes the hugely popular subject of dinosaurs and presents it in an entirely new and dynamic format. Using colourful, newly commissioned illustrations, only the very extreme dinosaurs feature here, from the huge and lumbering Brachiosaurus to the terrifyingly ferocious Giganotosaurus and the tiny Microraptor. Imaginative text offers a vivid description and detailed information about these extraordinary creatures; including unusual facts and fascinating statistics. This approach covers all the information that any self-respecting dinosaur fanatic would expect to see, but what really sets this book apart are the fantastic special items, Impeccably designed and impossible to ignore, "Extreme Dinosaurs" tells you everything you ever wanted to know about the dinosaurs that made the record books.

Robert Mash read Zoology at Balliol College, Oxford, and researched Animal Behaviour there with Nobel Laureate Niko Tinbergen. After working for some years in London, he was Appointed Head of Biology at Clayesmore School, retiring in 1999. His best-selling book, How To Keep Dinosaurs, was published in 1983 by Andre Deutsch, with a second edition published by Weidenfeld and Nicolson in 2003.
