Annemarie Anang, a Londoner born to Ghanaian parents, is an actress and former primary school teacher. She began writing for children after struggling to find books for her daughter that featured main characters who reflected the reality of the diversity of children in our world. She is the author of I Am Nefertiti (Five Quills), which was shortlisted for the Leeds Book Awards, the Little Rebels Award and Teach Early Years Award. Dance Just Like So is her second book with Five Quills. Natelle Quek is a Malaysian born illustrator. Natelle loves to use bold colours and cinematic perspectives. Her work is influenced by pop culture, folk art and nature. Natelle has illustrated She Kept Dancing (Macmilllan USA), Wild, Wild Woods (Puffin Books) and I Am Nefertiti (Five Quills), which was shortlisted for the Leeds Book Awards, the Little Rebels Award and Teach Early Years Award. Dance Just Like So (2024) is her second book with Five Quills.
