Percy the Piebald Pony is settled in his new home. A new pony, a miniature Shetland Pony called Mike, arrives at the stables and is put in the same field with Percy. Mike is mischievous and, soon bored, he persuades Percy that they should escape. They manage to get out of their field and make it to the town's high street, causing attention and mayhem even when trying to fit in. After the town they enter the forest and meet a family of deer and make friends and have something to eat before heading back to the stables. Thankfully they have not been missed but have had a great adventure.

Susannah is an avid horse owner - who has owned a cob called Percy for over 17 years. She has a masters degree in film and life. Susannah is passionate about renaissance art and art history and also Italy. She has published two previous adult fiction novels, one of which was set partly in Italy. Peter worked as a Compliance Officer in financial regulation for over 25 years before retiring. Percy the Piebald Pony was the first book he has been involved with publishing; Percy and Mike's Big Adventure is the second.
