Mary didn’t give up. She went before a judge and demanded her right to study. The judge allowed her to go to school, but only at night. Mary didn’t let any obstacles stand in her way. She kept working, and went on to become the first black female engineer at NASA.

Today he is an expert on both animation and design and the illustrator for the Little Trailblazers book series.
