TOM CRESTODINA has been working as a fisherman in Alaska for over 20 years and studied marine engineering at the Seattle Maritime Academy. After his first child was born, he began making cutaway drawings of the vessels he was working on as a way to connect with his child while he was at sea. He now documents the maritime trades in his art, and his work is carried in shops and galleries along the Pacific coast. He lives in Bellingham, WA, with his wife, Ania, and their two children. You can find out more about his art at TheScow.BigCartel.com. TELE AADSEN is a commercial fisherman and the author of a collection of essays, What Water Holds. In summer she lives at sea in Southeast Alaska with her partner Joel, and in winter she lives in Bow, WA, where she markets their catch through Nerka Sea Frozen Salmon.
