In the real world, Pandora is homeless. Her family sleeps in a car parked in a municipal lot. But when a wizard attacks one night and her parents go out to defend their home, Pandora is transported to a magical upside-down world where only rich people live in cars. Instead of the grimy parking lot with its chain link fence and glaring streetlights, Pandora finds herself parked on a golf course in an exclusive country club in the back seat of a Lamborghini. In the course of her attempts to find a way home, she inadvertently releases a dangerous spirit who threatens to destroy the very fabric of reality. To make matters worse, Pandora isn't even sure if she wants things to go back to normal. In the real world, she is cold and hungry. There are mean girls at school who make fun of her thrift store clothes. At the country club, Pandora has the best of everything that money can provide and two happy, well-functioning parents who love her. While she struggles to fix the problems she has created, she is torn between loyalty to the parents she left behind and her new life as one of the country's elite.
