Welcome to the Official Heart of Midlothian Football Club Annual 2024!
Hearts are celebrating our 150th anniversary, and this year’s annual is taking you on a tour through time as we chart a century and a half of triumph and adventure as we made our way to the top of the Scottish game.
We’ll reflect on the record-breaking Hearts team of 1957/58 that was crowned Champions of Scotland, right through to that glorious day in 1998 when the Jambos brought the Scottish Cup back to Gorgie after a three-decade wait.
Whilst bringing the past to life, we’ll keep a keen eye on the present too – charting our travels around Europe as the Jambos returned to group stage European football for the first time in 18 years!
Within the pages of this annual we’ll sit down with players from the first team as they lift the lid on their journey at the club, life as a professional footballer, and much more! Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hearts annual without plenty of puzzles, games, and brainteasers to get you thinking.
There’s plenty going on around the club and Hearts Women, under the guidance of Eva Olid, are set for another thrilling campaign in the SWPL – going toe-to-toe at the top of the table, with more exciting Capital Cup derbies against Hibs coming up. Homegrown hero Finlay Pollock is also under the spotlight, talking about his career and passing on helpful tips on making it as a pro.
