"Art: The Language of All Children" provides future elementary teachers with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to engage young children in creative art activities from preschool through the fifth grade. This text provides both a philosophical and historical background of art education. The focus of "Art: The Language of All Children" is the developmental levels of child growth and development. Once elementary education majors develop and unfold their own creativity, they can then encourage and assist children to do the same. This text is used as a course textbook and a resource guide, containing project assignments, materials list, and evaluative criteria. It is a lifelong guide for teachers to nurture their children's creative development.

For 36 years, Peter A. Fraschetti has enjoyed sharing his knowledge and love of art with students, faculty and staff at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Along with teaching at FAU, Fraschetti is a practicing artist in both oils and acrylics. He emphasizes the need for supporting classroom teachers in the arts and stresses the importance of art teachers developing their own artistic self-expression.
