Step back in time and discover the extraordinary life story of the famous boy king and how Howard Carter discovered his resting place.
Have you ever wondered what life was like in Ancient Egypt during the reign of Tutankhamun? This is the thrilling tale of his reign and Howard Carter's discovery of his resting place – both stories cleverly intertwined for the first time ever.

Discover the many aspects of the discovery of the tomb which had been lost to the sand dunes: the treasures found inside, the historical facts of the child pharaoh's life, how people lived during the reign of Tutankhamun.

You will even learn the secrets of the ancient Egyptians such as the different steps of mummification, how papyrus was made and what hieroglyphs say, in the specially designed fold-out pages!

This is a superb introduction to Ancient Egypt and a must have for history enthusiasts and aspiring archaeologists and Egyptologists. Exactly 3,354 years ago, Tutankhamun was the most important person in Egypt. He was a boy of only 9 years, but he reigned over a great empire. Although he died young, today he is the most famous pharaoh of all.

The author Àlex Novials is a journalist and directs the Petit Sàpiens magazine in Barcelona, the only existing publication that spreads historical knowledge in an entertaining way. Àlex confesses to being a frustrated Egyptologist, and this book fulfils one of his dreams: he knows everything about the boy pharaoh. The illustrator Eva Palomar graduated in graphic design in Barcelona and completed her training as an illustrator at Teesside University (UK). She has published two books and in recent years she has received the prestigious Lazrillo award (Spanish award for children's and young people's literature) and the Premi Núvol.
