Tania McCartney is an award-winning author, illustrator and editor, with over 50 books in print. Her work with Hardie Grant Travel includes I Heart the World (2020), Australia: Illustrated Map (2017) and World: Illustrated Map (2018), on which this world map jigsaw puzzle is based. Tania has also created a series of jigsaw puzzles: Australia Map Puzzle (2019), Birds of Australia Puzzle (2020) and Animals of Australia Puzzle (2020). The founder of Kids' Book Review and The Happy Book podcast, Tania specialises in picture books, junior fiction and juvenile non-fiction. Her awards include the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award and the CBCA Laurie Copping Award for Distinguished Service to Children's Literature, and she has also been longlisted for the 2020 World Illustration Awards.
