The little kitten was cold, alone and afraid. When a kind voice and the smell of food entices him to come out of the woods, he finds himself taken to a warm kitchen. Unable to keep him, his rescuer contacts her neighbor asking if she would be willing to adopt the kitten. Already the owner of two cats, one more would pose no problem but a trip to the veterinarian reveals that the kitten has a disability. A decision needed to be made and the kittens life depended on it. This is a story of compassion and acceptance, challenge and courage. It is a message of encouragement to any who face disabilities and reassurance to those they love.
