It is in this background that the present study has beer set to anaryze tie level of inf'astructure and human development in the state as well as with respect to its districts and to establish relationship between infrastructure, economic growth and human development. Dr.(Ms.)Gargi Ghosh is a Ph.D (Economics) from Punjab University, Chandigarh. She was a senior research fellow of this university. She is a winner of University Grants Commission (UGC) fellowship. Having rich experience in academic and research, she is well known in academic circles, having several publications in the field of development economics in many reputed journals.
