Equal Opportunities Video

Covering a range of situations, this video aims to encourage group discussion for pupils aged 13 plus of the issues surrounding equality of opportunity. Topics include: role expectations; family influences; and the structure of work and society. It includes teachers' notes and exercises. The resource can be used to increase awareness about the influence of tradition, custom and prejudice on attitude and behaviour, encouraging students to question their own beliefs and the prevalent attitudes around them.
