Rising Stars, sponsored by Arts Council England's Grant for the Arts programme, is a poetry anthology showcasing the work of five debut poets from diverse backgrounds, all aged 25 and under.

Black and white illustrations are by final year students from Birmingham City University's illustration course.

Joelle Taylor, founder and Artistic Director of SLAMbasadors UK, is acting as a consultant to the project.

Pop Up Projects is a community interest company with a mission to engage children and families, schools and communities through books, stories, and the people who make them. Pop Up is passionate about ensuring children from all walks of life access the magic of children’s books, and about giving children and families the tools to make their own stories. As a not-for-profit social enterprise, Pop Up Projects reinvest any money made back into its projects.
