Silver Burdett Music

The first of four teacher's resource packs which comprise elements of a music programme designed to cover the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1-3. Pack 1 is for use at Key Stage 1, Years R-2, and components include a set of audio cassettes and a "Teacher's Resource Book".

"Silver Burdett Music" is a programme which has been designed to meet the changing needs of teachers and children, and to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1-3. The set of resources includes teacher's editions, pupil's books, cassettes, a scope and sequence chart, and teacher's resource books. Ideas, resources and suggestions for lesson plans are provided for all teachers regardless of their own music experience or training. It is not necessary for the teacher using the programme to be able to read music or play accompaniments, since these are provided on the cassettes. This "Teacher's Resource Pack" contains one each of the following items from the programme: "Teacher's Edition", (0-382-07309-6), "Cassette Tapes" (0-382-07315-0), "Teacher's Resource Book" (0-382-18504-8), "Language Skills Handbook" (0-382-18648-6), and "Scope and Sequence Chart" (0-382-18647-8). This is the first pack in the series and is designed for use at Key Stage 1, Years R-2.
