Where does God live? How can we "see" God? Using simple, everyday examples that children can relate to, this colorful book helps young readers develop a direct and personal understanding of God.
Children ask a lot of questions.

Spiritual questions can become the best conversations.

This beautiful book helps children and parents embark, together, on an imaginative journey in search of God. Bright and evocative photographs inspire children to connect the story to their own lives, and to understand the everyday places we can see God … when we laugh, when we’re scared, when we try something new; in bears, in bugs, and in our dreams.

Where Does God Live? playfully helps us to find God by opening our eyes—and our spiritual imaginations!

August Gold, founder and former spiritual director of Sacred Center New York, is an award-winning author, and has served as an inspirational teacher and counselor in New York City for twenty years. She speaks nationally and internationally at conferences and organizations, and is the author of several books, including The Prayer Chest (Doubleday), Prayer Partners (Harmony/Random House), Does God Hear My Prayer? and Does God Forgive Me? (both SkyLight Paths). Rev. Matthew J. Perlman blends spiritual questioning and imagination in his work as an Interfaith Minister. He is a graduate of the New Seminary in New York. Before becoming a stay-at-home dad he was a human resources consultant and employment counselor helping people find a spiritual peace with career choices. His photography has helped him and others realize that the Divine can be found everywhere you look. He and his wife live in New York City with their daughter, who constantly challenges her parents with new and profound questions about God.
