Peter Yarrow is a singer/songwriter, famous for being part of the folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary. The band had many hits in the 1960s and 70s, including Puff the Magic Dragon. Yarrow is also a social and political activist who marched with Martin Luther King and campaigned against the Vietnam War. He now sings in a trio (Peter, Bethany and Rufus) with his daughter Bethany. Lenny Lipton, now a well-known independent filmmaker, wrote the poem which became Puff, the Magic Dragon whilst at university. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and family. Eric Puybaret has already published more than 20 books in his native France. His dreamy, peaceful illustrations perfectly convey the charm of this much-loved story.
