It's bedtime in the forest and a little deer wants to stay up. "Is Fox still awake? Are the squirrels still playing in the trees?" he asks his mummy. But, as the dark draws in, Fawn finds that his friends are already fast asleep.
This gentle, sleepytime board book is perfect to share with your little one at bedtime. With beautiful illustrations of woodland animals, a squishy padded cover and sturdy pages for little hands, your toddler will love snuggling up to read this lyrical bedtime rhyme night after night. With a huge glittery moon on the front cover, it’s an ideal gift for 1 to 3 year olds too!

As each woodland family gets ready for bed, Little Deer isn’t ready to sleep yet. “Is Fox still awake? Are the squirrels still playing in the trees?” Follow Mummy Deer as she takes her fawn on a bedtime walk, meeting lots of other sleepy animals along the way, before it’s time for everyone to drift off to sleep!

The perfect companion to Under the Sleepy Stars, also by Stephanie Shaw and Rebecca Harry.

Stephanie lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest region of the United States in Oregon. Drawing from the fields and forests of the area, she loves creating lyrical stories for the nursery. She is most influenced in her writing by having had parents who wisely filled her life with books. It is in their honor that she now writes stories for other parents to share with little ones. Rebecca Harry studied design/illustration in Exeter and began her career drawing greetings cards. She has illustrated several books including the Ruby Duckling picture books with Jonathan Emmett. She lives in Cardiff with her two children.
