Diane Redmond is a prolific author, television scriptwriter and playwright. Among her first children's books were the Fireman Sam titles for Heinemann. She has written several plays for the Polka Theatre Company; the young football series Come on You Reds! for Transworld, Young Corgi; Animal Sanctuary for MacDonald; Stage School for Hodder. Her latest commission from Random House is to write four picture book text for the new animated feature of Watership Down. She lives in Cambridge with her family and two dogs.
