Original story by E Nesbit. Retold by: Gill Munton gained a degree in Art history and then trained as a primary school teacher. She has worked in primary literacy publishing since the 1970s and is now a full-time writer. Gill has written reading scheme books, children’s stories and non-fiction books. Louis Fidge is passionate about the importance of quality primary education, and literacy in particular. He has over forty years' experience in primary education, including as a principal of a primary school in the Middle East.
