Sexual Harassment

Alison Thomas is a Senior Lecturer in Psychosocial Studies at the University of London, UK. She is currently studying the impact of the introduction of sexual harassment policies in universities in Canada and the UK; her other ongoing research interests are in gender relations and the social construction of gendered identities. In addition to her publications in these areas, she recently collaborated with Robyn Rowland on a Special Feature on Feminists Mothering Sons, which was published in Feminism & Psychology: An International Journal. Celia Kitzinger is Director of Women's Studies at Loughborough University, UK. She is the author of nearly 100 articles or chapters on issues relating to feminism, and has published seven books including The Social Construction of Lesbianism (Sage, 1987); Changing Our Minds: Lesbian Feminism and Psychology (with Rachel Perkins, Onlywomen & New York University Press, 1993); Heterosexuality (with Sue Wilkinson, Sage, 1993); and Representing the Other (with Sue Wilkinson, Sage, 1996). She is currently writing about the role of 'experience' in feminist theory and practice.
