A fresh Bible commentary on Matthew for preaching, teaching and personal study.
All the gospels bring us close to the person of Jesus Christ and encourage us to follow him. But Matthew's Gospel is a powerful summons for disciples of Jesus to become disciple-makers in the nations.
In this lively and accessible commentary, Ben Cooper highlights the missionary purpose that shapes the Gospel from start to finish, while drawing our attention to Matthew's rich theology. In this Gospel there is treasure new and old, rest for our souls and teaching for a life of service.
