The documentation of the Initiative Stolpersteine Burgsteinfurt, now in an up-to-date and English-language version, documents the fate of those persons for whom 77 stumbling stones were laid in Burgsteinfurt between 2007 and 2017. The English-language version is addressed to the descendants in the USA, England, the Netherlands, Chile and Israel, with whom we are still in contact today.
Oliver Löpenhaus belongs to the initiative Stolpersteine Burgsteinfurt since 2011 and was already involved in the creation of the First Documentation. In 2021, together with Lina-Sophie Hentzschel, he brought out a completely revised and expanded version, which was published in bookstores for the first time. Since 2022, Oliver Löpenhaus has also been an advisor for Jewish history in the Heritage Society of Burgsteinfurt.
Lina-Sophie Hentzschel, a medical student, has been a member of the Stolpersteine Burgsteinfurt initiative since 2018 and was already involved in the annual commemorations of the anniversary of the Pogrom Night as a student of the Gymnasium Arnoldinum.
