Histories of Philosophy and Thought in Korean Language
Sool Park is currently a member of the research project, "Histories of Philosophy in a Global Perspective" at Hildesheim University, Germany. He is also a lecturer at the University of Munich (LMU). He has received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Hildesheim (2021). He was Assistant Professor for philosophy at the Korea Military Academy in Seoul, Korea (2013-2016). His areas of interest include translation- and media theory, intercultural history of philosophy and East Asian philosophy. He is translator of multiple philosophical and literary works between the languages Korean, German, English and Classical Chinese, including works of Wittgenstein, Nietzsche, Hölderlin, Hyujeong and Chang Do-bin. His most recent publication: Paradoxien der Grenzsprache und das Problem der Übersetzung, Würzburg 2021.
