Der 54. Band der interdisziplinären Zeitschrift enthält fünf Aufsätze. Diese befassen sich mit den Steinbeilen und Steinäxten der Prussia-Sammlung am Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte, den beiden Bronzerädern aus dem Hortfund von Arokallya / Kallesdorf / Arcalia in Rumänien als Beispiel für ein vielschichtiges Bronzefundschicksal, einem durchbrochenen merowingerzeitlichen Beschlag des Gürtelgehänges mit figürlicher Darstellung von Greifvögeln aus “Hayettes” in Frankreich, Mainzer Funden aus dem Saaremaa-Museum in Kuresaare, Estland, sowie Klaus Raddatz und dem Museum in Winnyzja, Ukraine, während des Zweiten Weltkrieges. Darauf folgen die Jahresberichte 2021 zur Arbeit des Berliner Museums für Vor- und Frühgeschichte, zu Zahlen, Daten und Fakten des Museumsjahrs, zum Deutschen Verband für Archäologie e.V. [DVA], zur Arbeit der Kommission zur Erforschung von Sammlungen archäologischer Funde und Unterlagen aus dem nordöstlichen Mitteleuropa [KAFU] sowie zum Forschungsprojekt des Museums zu “Forschungskontinutität und Kontinuitätsforschung - Siedlungsarchäologische Grundlagenforschung zur Eisenzeit im Baltikum”.

The 54th volume of the interdisciplinary journal contains five papers dealing with the stone celts and axes in the Prussia Collection of the Museum of Pre- and Protohistory, the two bronze wheels from a hoard found at Arokallya / Kallesdorf / Arcalia in Romania as an example of the complex fate of bronze finds, a perforated Merovingian belt pendant fitting with a figural representation of birds of prey found at “Hayettes” in France, finds from Mainz in the Saaremaa Museum in Kuresaare, Estonia, as well as Klaus Raddatz and the Museum at Winnyzja in the Ukraine during the Second World War. This is followed by the annual reports 2021 on the work of the Museum of Pre- and Protohistory in Berlin, on figures, dates, and facts of the year in the museum, on the work of the German Association of Archaeology [DVA], and the Commission for the Investigation of Collections of Archaeological Finds and Documents in North-Eastern Central Europe [KAFU], and by a report on the museum’s research project on “Continuity of research and research on continuity - basic investigations on settlement archaeology in the Iron Age Baltic”.
