Der Tagungsband enthält ein Vorwort und 26 Vorträge einer internationalen Konferenz im Niedersächsischen Landesmuseum Hannover vom 20.-22. Mai 2019. Er hat zwei Kapitel, eines zu “Grenzgängern, Händlern und den letzten Jäger-Sammlern der nordeuropäischen Tiefebene” [16 Beiträge zur Interaktion mesolithischer und neolithischer Gemeinschaften], eines zu “Welten im Wandel - Die Ausbreitung der neolithischen Lebensweise im Norden” [10 Beiträge zu allgemeineren Aspekten]. The papers are divided into chapters on “Grenzgänger, traders and the last hunter-gatherers of the North European Plain” [16 papers on the interaction between Mesolithic and Neolithic communities] and on “Changing worlds - The Spread of the Neolithic Way of Life in the North” [10 papers on more general aspects of the Neolithisation].
