Verna Holyhead, SGS (1933-2011), Australian Sister of the Good Samaritan of the Order of St. Benedict, wrote with an emphasis on biblical scholarship, liturgical insight, and pastoral challenge. She was the author of the three-volume collection Welcoming the Word in Year A, B, and C, published by Liturgical Press. Orin E. Johnson has been director of music ministries at Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish in St. Charles, Missouri, since 2012. There, he directs a children’s choir, a contemporary ensemble, a funeral choir, and a team of cantors, and supervises two other choirs and liturgical ministries at a K–8 parochial school. He was also coordinator of music and liturgy at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois, from 1998 to 2012. He resides in St. Louis, Missouri, with his wife, Erin. Jessica Mannen Kimmet is a freelance writer and liturgical musician. Formerly a full-time college campus minister, she now spends her days overseeing a domestic church and the growth of her three young sons. Originally from Oregon, she has spent most of her adult life in the Midwest, with the exception of two years of ministry in Wexford, Ireland. She holds a BA in theology and music theory and a master of divinity, both from the University of Notre Dame. Victoria (Vickey) McBride is the director of campus ministry at Saint Martin de Porres High School (Cristo Rey) in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to working at Saint Martin, she lived and worked in Brownsville, Texas as a teacher in the Alliance for Catholic Education, earning her master of education degree from the University of Notre Dame. She contributed to Five Minutes with the Saints: More Spiritual Nourishment for Busy Teachers, a book of meditations published by Ave Maria Press in 2014. She serves as a music minister for her parish, Saint Patrick Parish, and as director of the Saint Martin de Porres Gospel Choir. Father Ruberval Monteiro da Silva, a Benedictine monk, was born in Rolândia in the South of Brazil. He began praying with art during his novitiate year of religious formation and later earned a doctorate in theology and Christian iconography. Fr. Monteiro da Silva has created works in churches and chapels throughout Europe and teaches liturgy and arts at the Pontifical Liturgy Institute of Rome.
