The convent looked out on a petroleum plant, and just beyond that, the polluted, hellbender-colored Ohio River. I spent my time reading books online.#4 I was in love with a man I had never met, and we would talk on the phone for hours. I was never afraid to sleep alone in that convent, but I would wake up to a seeming sunrise out the window.
