The power and authority of Jesus is available to all Christians to resist, battle, and defeat the Evil One's attempts to draw mankind away from God. The defensive tools and offensive weapons provided by God are often neglected or not used against these destructive forces. Why? Simply, because mankind lacks knowledge. Christians are ignorant of Satan's various methods of deception, trickery, distortion of truth, and physical, spiritual or mental attacks. The successful use of the tools and weapons revealed in this book will provide Victory over Darkness and freedom from the Evil One's influences.

Victory Over Darkness is a Spirit inspired document concerning the Satanic influences on mankind and the evil realm of darkness. It also presents a positive approach to combating and overcoming these dark forces. There is considerable evidence that we Christians lack knowledge concerning the dark world and the entities that live there. Satan and His dark world servants have blinded the eyes of those who should be walking in Victory. We Christians should be living a life of freedom and be able to maintain a closeness to God. Yet, we are held captive and unable to perceive that we are not free and do not have a closeness to our Creator. Why? Simply put, it is a lack of knowledge and awareness as to what is causing our failure and subservience to the evil forces that surround us and perpetuate a lack of power to overcome those forces. Although we are free in Christ, we, because of lack of knowledge, are bound up and held captive by the evil forces that inhabit the dark world of sin. Therefore, because of our inability to recognize these dark force entities and limited knowledge concerning how to resist and overcome them, we remain captive and do not have a closeness to our Creator. Victory Over Darkness is an expose of the dark world of demonic forces and the many evil methods of deceiving and drawing men away from God. It also reveals many ways which man is attacked in body, mind, and spirit by both physical and spiritual entities that arise out of the evil realm of darkness. The pages of this book reveal who these evil servants are and specifically how they go about their evil deeds of deception and drawing men back into their dark world of sin, immorality, and transgression of God's laws. This book can also be considered a guidebook for those who want to defeat these Satanic dark entities. God has provided Christians with many tools and weapons to confront and thwart evil in its tracks. The power and authority of Jesus is available to all Christians to resist, battle, and defeat the Evil One's attempts to draw them away from God. God has provided many ways for Christians to recognize and fight off these dark entities. Anyone who has accepted Christ and desires to walk with Him in spirit and truth has power - power to overcome and defeat Satan and His minions of servants who's purpose is to deceive, and distort truth to draw mankind away from God. He is very adept at it. Possibly, the most important and effective tool available to Christians is the Power in the Name of Jesus. That power is available, but seldom used because of lack of knowledge and weakened faith. It is important that every Christian be able to identify Satan's agents of deceit, deception, and diversion as they attempt to deceive you. Also, there is need to recognize when a messengers of torment and strife is actually attacking you body, mind and spirit. One must identify and recognize these evil forces before they can be resisted and repelled. Being able to perceive these dark force presence when they are active is critical. Therefore, knowledge of their existence and Godly wisdom and power are necessary to defeat them or have victory over them. This book has been written to communicate knowledge and information (to all Christians) about Satan, His servants, His evil ways, and the world of darkness. Knowledge and Wisdom can be used to defeat all of these entries of darkness and obtain victory over them using the power of Jesus. The successful use of the tools and weapons revealed in this book will provide Victory over Darkness and freedom from the Evil One's influences.

Chapter 1

Wisdom and Knowledge

The earth, before, The Fall, was a wonderful, Godly place to live. It was not plagued with demonic forces that create chaos, confusion, disruption, and devastation.

After Satan came into the earth and tempted Adam and Eve to sin against God, it became an abomination to God. It became filled with demonic forces that still exist today. Since that fateful day when Adam and Eve chose to defy God’s command to not eat from the tree, mankind has lived in defiance of God and continues to live that way – choosing to disregard God’s ways and even oppose His ways.

After the fall, the world was given over to the prince of the power of the air. Satan and his evil forces became the supreme power on the earth. From that day to the present, his forces have constantly been invading mankind’s domain to cause them to choose his ways and not God’s ways.

Even in today’s world with our knowledge of what Jesus did for us on the cross, Satan seemingly has the upper hand and is exerting much more power over men. Satan has seized men’s minds and spirits and enslaved them into a world of darkness where they can barely see the light that shines before them. This does not have to be.

God has always had a plan to provide for man’s salvation from these evil forces. In times past, man had limited knowledge concerning the mystery of Christ which provides, not only salvation, but protection and freedom from Satan’s evil powers. In this day and age, mankind does have knowledge of the mystery of Christ which enables them to not only receive salvation; but also, the power to overcome and defeat Satan. This opens the door for men to have Victory Over Darkness.

Even in these days of enlightenment concerning Jesus Christ and what He has done, much of humanity has little or no knowledge of the powers they have available to struggle and combat against all Satanic forces. These evil powers are intent on intruding into our lives to deceive, distort, torture, and torment us with the singular purpose of driving us away from God.

It is not God’s will or plan that men be held captive by these evil forces. It is God’s plan that they be free to serve Him and others. By sending Jesus to prepare the way and give us tools and greater awareness of how to combat the evil one, God has opened the door for all men to follow by giving them knowledge. It is each man’s responsibility to prepare himself by receiving the knowledge God has already given and to learn how to wisely use that information to overcome all the dark forces that surround and oppress. Through knowledge we can and do attain Victory Over Darkness.

1-A Knowledge and Wisdom Limited

Most Christians, from the time they are born again till the time they die are subjected to the evil forces of darkness. However, knowledge concerning how to defend themselves and combat these forces is limited.

In this current day, we actually receive very little information or teaching as to how to overcome or defeat the darkness. Therefore, darkness becomes an overwhelming force that influences us daily. The result being that we are often impotent in any effort to battle against these forces.

All during our Christian life we are taught the basics of Christianity: faith, hope, love, truth. We are taught how to worship, to live the Christian life, to be concerned about other people (especially those not saved), to serve others, to avoid sin and sinful activities. Generally we are taught good and positive things that will help us grow in our faith and relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

But, often these principles of the Christian life are presented in such a way that they only become words of knowledge concerning principles of the Christian life. There is a vast level of knowledge that has not been revealed.

The recognized principles of the Christian life lack power – power to resist, power to defeat, and power to overcome Satanic forces of darkness. We understand much of the guidance that comes forth to help us walk a Christian life, but do not grasp the full measure of what has been revealed. This is because we primarily do not have full knowledge concerning the confrontations we must experience from Satan daily.

These fundamental elements opposing, resisting, and combating Satan in our Christian walk are necessary to our functioning in the fullness of God’s power. We may be aware, but not have complete knowledge concerning the world of darkness. Without knowledge, we cannot walk in understanding and wisdom.

In order to function in this world of limited knowledge we are trapped in a partial world – a world where we do not see the unseen, the hidden, the obscure, the shrouded. We do not see the darkness that surrounds us – the Satanic realm of pure evil. We don’t see the unseen world of the evil one and his wickedness.

Allegory:

Hear the story of the man who lives in a housing allotment where most homes have small lots and are surrounded by wooden security fences on three sides. Normally as he looked out his dining room window, he sees his bird feeder, two large trees, his dog house and, of course, the fences. Nothing else. Many prefer these fences because it gives them privacy; but this man was unhappy that he was unable to see his neighbors or their back yards. He wanted a more expansive view of his surroundings.

One night, a small tornado passed through the allotment and knocked down most of the fence surrounding his yard. When he arose in the morning, he looked out to assess the damage. As he looked out, everything seemed to be in slow motion. First he saw the bird feeder close to the house, the dog house, and the trees. A little further toward the back, he saw that the fence was down, pieces scattered everywhere. To his surprise, there was no damage to the house or anything in the yard, except the fence. Then he realized because the fence was down, he could see all his neighbors back yards.

What he saw was nothing he had ever visualized or imagined. He was now looking at two houses and yards that were completely dissimilar.

The first house needed significant repair to the roof and siding. Besides that there was a rusted, wrecked car sitting on blocks. The yard hadn’t been mowed for many weeks and trash was scattered everywhere. A large tree cast a shadow on the entire scene making it appear dark and foreboding. It was not a pleasant site.

The fence between those two houses was still standing, so neither party could see the other’s house. It was a good thing, because the occupant of the second house would have been just as shocked as I.

The second house and yard were completely different in appearance. The house was well maintained and in good repair. The lawn was neat and tidy with a beautiful flower garden and a few ornamental trees scattered artfully around the yard. It was a pleasure to look upon.

As the man looked at these two yards, his knowledge was increased substantially concerning his neighborhood. It had taken the power of the wind to reveal what was behind the fence.

Allegory explained:

The fence represents the obstructions or hindrances that exist that need to be torn down in order for him to have his eyes opened to knowledge – knowledge of what is being hidden from his view.

The tornado represents the wind of the Spirit which has the capability of knocking down all walls or fences that would hinder our view.

In this case there are two realms. One is a depiction of disarray, clutter, disorder, or darkness. The other is a depiction of neatness, orderliness, beauty, or light.

It is the purview of this book to mostly concentrate on the domain of darkness. Which includes:

◆Satan and the evil forces that exist around us,

◆how to battle these evil forces to be victorious,

◆the power we have available to help us in combat.

Currently there are many obstacles (fences) before our eyes that hinder our ability to see the extensive network of darkness that surrounds us.

The real world is plainly visible to our eyes because many have gone before us to teach and reveal knowledge of God’s principles, Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, truth, and so much more.

The invisible spirit world is not as perceptible to our sight. Therefore, it requires some spiritual force to knock down the obstructions (fences) that keep us unaware of the darkness.

It takes knowledge concerning the dark world in order for us to confront and struggle against those forces that are opposed to everything Godly. For this reason, the obstacles (fences) that are before our eyes need to be removed so that knowledge can be revealed. Once we have knowledge concerning the dark world and its resultant evil intentions, we are able to see the dangers that exist in the realm of darkness. Thus, we will be able to combat those forces and overcome them.

The Holy Spirit is God’s instrument in knocking down the fences that obstruct our ability to receive knowledge – knowledge concerning the evil forces of Satan. With the fences down, He can open our spiritual eyes to receive His revelations and knowledge.
