Sequel to 'Golden Thread Series' detailing the challenges faced by past and present-day missionaries who faced insurmountable difficulties and saw God intervene, removing the barrier (stone), and enabling the work to progress.
The present volume forms a sequel to the 'Golden Thread Series' in that it seeks to recall the endeavours and challenges faced by some of those who sought to make known, by their actions and convictions, the existence of the True and Living God, who by His sovereign grace and Almighty Power wrought such amazing answers to the prayers of His faithful ministers by 'rolling away the stones' which had proved a barrier to the progress of the work they had been called to.

The experiences of these faithful servants live to confirm the reality of God in their lives, as a Living God, who is not only aware of their plights and difficulties, but intervenes and resolves, so that their faith is strengthened and their ultimate goal is achieved.

The author is one who, with an unnumbered company, finds great encouragement in the recalling and registering of these events of past and present generations. A source for consolidation of faith and conviction that we truly serve a God, who not only exists, but lives and works in the lives of his people.

The author has, from teenage years, witnessed, on many occasions, such a God, working in ways of unexpected blessing and deliverance, both in the secular field of industrial and educational occupation, as well as spiritual and evangelical activity. The scripture reaffirms this when it says, 'He is faithful that promised'
