To put out a fire, you only have to remove one of three things-oxygen, fuel, or the source of the fire. In this case, the bonfire goes out once all the wood (fuel) is consumed. The same is true with the spiritual fire of God! There are three components, and if any one of the three are removed, the fire of God will go out in a person's life. (See page 141 for the spiritual fire triangle.) The three components needed for a healthy spiritual fire is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. If any of these are removed from the equation, the fire of God cannot and will not remain intense enough for you and others to benefit from His presence within your life.
