This timely volume explores the multiple domains where Behavior Analysts can provide meaningful assessment and interventions. Selecting clinical areas in which behavior analysts already are active, chapters will describe unique features of the setting as well as the skills and competencies needed to practice in these areas.

While providers of behavior analytic services have substantially increased in number, the field of behavior analysis itself has narrowed. Reimbursement policies and name recognition as a treatment specific to autism have raised concerns that other areas where it is helpful, such as behavioral gerontology or integrated behavioral health, will be de-emphasized. This volume aims to promote workforce development and support broad behavior analytic training, considering the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's 5th edition task list (effective in 2020).

Alexandros Maragakis, Ph.D. is an assistant professor at Eastern Michigan University, and has a particular interest in integrated care treatment delivery and training of behavioral health professionals.  He has provided direct service to clients and consultation in implementing integrated healthcare and quality improvement principles within community health centers and in hospital settings. He has published numerous articles, book chapters, and has presented multiple talks on a regional and national level in regard to the role of behavior analysts in integrated care treatment and how to expand their scope of practice.

Claudia Drossel, Ph.D., Ph.D. is an associate professor at Eastern Michigan University, a clinical psychologist, and a researcher who specializes in the application of behavior analysis to late-life neurobehavioral health. She holds doctoral degrees from Temple University's experimental psychology and from University of Nevada Reno's clinical psychology programs, and she completed post-doctoral training in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the University of Michigan. In addition to journal articles, chapters, and training videos for professionals, she has co-authored a step-by-step manual that guides healthcare providers in their work with older adults with cognitive loss and their families. Her editorial experience includes an associate editorship (Journal for Contextual Behavioral Science, 2015-2017), a guest editorship (Topics in Spinal Cord Injury), and she serves as an editorial board member for Perspectives in Behavior Science and the Journal of Contextual Behavioral Science. Her most recent clinical training project is supported by the Michigan Health Endowment Fund.

Thomas J. Waltz, Ph.D., Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and associate professor of psychology at Eastern Michigan University. He has worked as a clinical behavior analyst with a variety of populations spanning from developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder to outpatient mental health and substance abuse services for typically developing adults. His research focuses on the measurement of process and outcome variables related to evidence-based behavior therapies as well as their implementation. His service to behavior analysis includes serving as chair for the clinical, family, and behavioral medicine program tracks for the Association for Behavior Analysis International's annual convention, serving as an associate editor for The Behavior Analyst/Perspectives on Behavioral Science, and Behavior Analysis: Research & Practice; and serving as an ad hoc reviewer for a wide variety of behavioral journals.
