Kakucs-Turján – Tradition and Practice

The Kakucs-Turján multi-layered settlement was investigated by a Polish-Hungarian-German team of researchers. This volume contains the comprehensive results of the ceramic analysis, focusing on the diachronic investigation of pottery production, consumption and deposition in relation to the changing form of settlement occupation. The study highlights the continuity of social practices between the Early and Middle Bronze Age and the dynamics involved in the site formation.
