This second edition has been completely re-worked to include the author's latest research and insights. Inspired by the insight of Yogis from ancient India, visionary physicist David Ash has dedicated his life to developing a vortex physics that bridges the physical with the non-physical. He has opened the frontiers of science to the supernatural and the paranormal in a way never before possible.

David Ash was born in Kent, England, in 1948. His father, Dr Michael Ash, a medical doctor researching the link between cancer and radioactivity, introduced David as a boy to nuclear physics, healing and nutrition. David started to develop the vortex theory while he was at Queens University of Belfast in 1968 and continued at Queen Elizabeth College, London University 1969 to 1972 and then at the College of St Mark and St John in Plymouth in 1973/74. On January 15th 1975 he presented his vortex theory from the Faraday Rostrum at the Royal Institution in the same auditorium where the leading physicist of the nineteenth century, Lord Kelvin, also presented the historic vortex theory for the atom. David then continued to develop the theory until it was published (with Peter Hewitt) as The Vortex: Key to Future Science by Gateway books in 1990; after which he set out on an international lecture tour between 1991-94 to promote the vortex theory and the associated prediction of ascension. In 1995 the College of Psychic Studies published The New Science of the Spirit, which included a prediction of the accelerating expansion of the Universe, subsequently confirmed experimentally by Saul Perlmutter in 1997. The vortex theory was revised and republished as The New Physics of Consciousness by Kima Global Publishing of Cape Town in 2007 and again as The Vortex Theory in 2015. As well as being a pioneering physicist and metaphysician, David is also a nutritionist, a stonemason, a ceremonialist and a nomadic troubadour. He is a father of nine and grandfather to twelve.
