Positive Psychology

The purpose of the book is to bring together a number of very prominent positive psychology researchers to discuss current themes and research. We are anticipating fourteen (14) papers which will be divided into two sections - theoretical and applied. Among the issues to be presented on positive psychology are: Advances in positive psychology and Interventions, time perspective, empathy-altruism, mindfulness, positive orientation, love, forms of enjoyment, positive cyber psychology, epigenetic and physiological implications of positive psychology, positive creativity. The book will be pitched to senior undergraduates, graduates, academics and time perspective researchers. We expect each contribution to be between 25 - 30 pages excluding references. We are hopeful that this book will provide satisfactory answers to open, neglected or unresolved questions about this relatively new emerging area in the discipline of social psychology.
