Prayers and Reconciliation

This is meant to be a guide for you, to help you, as you journey through your heart with Jesus and find unhealed pain. These prayers do not have to be repeated word for word; however, there is nothing less powerful about reading a prayer from a sincere heart. It’s always encouraged to start your time with Jesus with a Covering Prayer. As pain and trauma need to be released, you can use the Releasing Prayer to help you. ALWAYS fill a part of your heart with the Holy Spirit after they have released pain. If you find yourself distracted or feel that the enemy is trying to interfere, you can pray another “push back” prayer of appeal, or use the Mini-Appeal Prayer. Close your time in prayer by sealing the work that Jesus has done with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Covering Prayer: “Thank You, Lord, for this time with You that You have appointed for me. I come before Your throne, washed in Your blood, and ask You to forgive me of any sins, and I thank You that You are faithful to cleanse me of any unrighteousness. I ask You, Jesus, to push back and rebuke any evil forces or attachments that would try to keep me captive in any way. I ask You to push back those forces. I ask You to restrain those forces, completely and fully, and I say along with You to any such forces, THE LORD REBUKE YOU, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST THAT HAS CHOSEN ME, REBUKE YOU.”

Releasing Prayer: “Lord Jesus, in accordance with Your word that You open the prison doors and set the captives free, I pray that the door to the prison holding this pain and trauma would open right now and that all the pain and trauma and everything not of You will release now! Releasing, releasing, releasing, flowing, releasing. For You, Jesus, were wounded for all the transgression against me, You were bruised for all the iniquity against me, and surely You bore my sorrows, and by Your stripes, I am healed.”

Infilling Prayer: “Lord Jesus, I ask You now to fill every place that has been left empty with Your Holy Spirit and with Your living presence. Filling, filling, filling…” (stay with this as you watch the part of your heart being filled) “Lord, I ask for You to wash through, into every fiber of my being. Come Holy Spirit and fill with springs of living water.” 4

Mini Appeal Prayer: “Lord, I come before the courts of heaven and ask You, Lord, to judge righteously, that there would be justice for the oppressed. I ask You to move back all cosmic beings, and forbid them from harassing, intimidating or retaliating against me, whether in the body or outside the body. Lord, would You prevent these beings, of whatever rank, from devouring me, my family, my ministry, or my possessions. May all such demonic beings be bound up into one, to be separated from every human part of me, whether perceived to be in the body or trapped in the dimensions. I ask that they not be allowed to transfer power to any other spirits or call for reinforcements. I ask that You keep them bound. Lord, I ask that portals of heaven be open with abundance and wisdom. That it would be loosed to me, all that You have for me. I speak to my spirit to stand upright, to be blessed in the Lord.”5

Closing Prayer: “Jesus, I ask You to come with any additional blessings You want to give (part of your heart). I ask You to heal any physical need, whether known or unknown. I ask You to seal the work that has been done today. In Jesus name, Amen.”6

If you uncover a spiritual attachment of darkness to any of the parts of the heart (ex: fear, worry, anxiety, etc.), you can ask Jesus to deal with that by praying the “Roots Prayer.”

Roots Prayer: “Lord Jesus, in agreement with (part of your heart) I ask You to rebuke and sever that spirit that is causing things to stay locked up. Sever to the root and send it away permanently.” Have the part of your heart say with you, “The Lord Rebuke you.” Then pray: “Lord Jesus, seal those places with the oil of the spirit.”7

If you have experienced a lot of trauma in your life, the Trauma Prayer is always a good prayer to pray. Again, it is no less powerful reading a prayer from a sincere heart. If you are finding it hard to connect with Jesus, sometimes praying this prayer helps take care of whatever is blocking that connection. There is no formula with this process, so “Just ask Jesus.”

Trauma Prayer

Father God, I resist and reject anything that will not bow its knee to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. They have no place here; I give you none. Holy Spirit, I invite You. Come and minister to me with Your love. I submit to You. I thank You so much for what You have done for me, for what You’ve provided for me, and for what You’ve shown me.

Father, in Jesus name, I take authority over this time, this space, this dimension, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Father, I ask You to disconnect me from every second heaven entity that’s gained access to me for the purpose of inflicting torment and trauma. I specifically ask You to disconnect me from fear, chaos, death, destruction; anything that has bound or blocked development. Disconnect me right now, Father, in Jesus name.

Father, I take authority over my body, in Jesus name. I command my body to release all of the effects of trauma. Everything that it has held onto, down to the cellular level. All memories of any incident on any level, the results of all trauma, fright, terror, chemical (drugs, poisons or toxins) the body has either produced naturally and hung on to as a result of trauma, or that were ingested or injected, anesthesia, excess enzymes produced prior to, during and after the incident.

I also command my body to release all of the effects of trauma with respect to rejection, abandonment, death, divorce, loss of dreams, hopes, aspirations, every time I was robbed, stolen from. You’ll come out without harm or injury. I command my body to release it all. All of the pent-up stress and tension, anxiety, worry, results of fear. I command it to leave.

I command my body to release all of the fear of the future: issues regarding health, business, children, spouse; I command all of that out of my body, you can’t hold on to it, in Jesus name.

I command my body to release all of the memories of aching loneliness; the feeling that I was all alone and helpless. Just be released right now, in Jesus name. I let it go. Wherever my body has hidden it, wherever I have allowed it to be stored up in my body, I let it go. I let it be released.

All of the effects of unforgiveness, bitterness, of being cut off or abandoned. I let it go. I release all of the effects of shame, disappointment, and disillusionment. Everywhere that people have not lived up to their word, in fact, have done exactly the opposite. Every time I have been called a name, lied against, lied about, dishonored. I let it all go. I release it. All of the physical effects, whether it was emotional, spiritual, or physical, I release it all now in the name of Jesus. Every bit of it. I let it go.

I take authority right now, in Jesus name, over all witchcraft prayers that have been prayed against me, against the body of Christ, against my relationships, against my place in the body, even those who have been jealous of me for how I looked, how I acted, the favor I had, I cut that all off right now, in Jesus name. Release me from every bit of it. Father, I call every one of those (words and prayers) null and void, and I cast them to the ground. They will have no effect. It’s dust under my feet.
