Designed to help parents, teachers and caregivers manage children’s fears, worries and anxieties with confidence and ease.
Soothe your child’s anxiety and help them to develop emotional resilience for the future. The number of children suffering from anxiety is on the rise and most parents will readily admit that they feel ill prepared and lost for words when it comes to supporting their child’s emotional wellbeing. Author Alicia Eaton is a Harley Street practitioner with over 15 years’ experience of helping children to feel more confident and overcome feelings of anxiety. As she explains, nearly all children will sustain bumps and bruises on the outside of their body so it’s only natural that they’ll also pick up a few on the inside, in the form of anxiety and worries. Learning how to tackle these quickly, stops them from turning into much bigger problems later.
Whether your child has a fear of dogs, spiders, dentists or injections, struggles with school, performing on stage or sleeping at night, this book will teach you the simple solutions every parent needs to know. When your child feels happy, you’ll feel happier too.

Originally a Montessori Teacher, Alicia ran her own School for five years and followed this up with further training and studies at the Anna Freud Centre in London. In 2003 she went on to train as an Integrative Psychotherapist and followed this up with numerous trainings in NLP; Thought Field Therapy (TFT or Tapping); Havening Techniques; Mindfulness at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre and Childhood Obesity at the National Centre for Eating Disorders. She’s now a qualified Trainer running workshops on a variety of topics, including parenting. Alicia has run a successful practice in London’s Harley Street for 14 years now and her unique blend of psychology and practical parenting advice means she’s the number one choice for parents when it comes to changing children’s unwanted habits and behaviours. From fussy-eating, obesity, anxiety, fears and phobias to thumb-sucking, nail-biting, bedwetting and sleep problems, Alicia helps parents steer their children on the right path. Alicia’s work is regularly featured in the media including BBC radio, Daily Mail, The Sun, Mother & Baby, Fox News, 9Jumpin’. She’s the author of three books which have proved popular for their ‘easy-to-read’ style and the fast results that can be achieved: Stop Bedwetting in 7 Days (MX publishing 2009; Matador, 2012 2nd edition) This book is NHS recommended.
