Using a comparative approach, the text explores how hormone-behaviour interactions have evolved in both humans and non-human animals to solve common problems in survival and reproduction. Topics include: the interactions between hormones and sexually dimorphic behaviours; mating and parental behaviours; homeostatic and rhythmic behaviours; as well as learning, memory and mood.
