We are one the of the largest BarCamps for User Experience Professionals with 500+ active participants from all over the world and meet in Berlin once a year from such diverse disciplines as Information Architecture, (Web-)Development, Interaction & Visual Design, Service Design, Content Strategy, Psychology and Usability. The event is held since 2009 and is planned by a team of local volunteers and run during the weekend by everybody attending. Since 2010 UXcamp Europe saw a 50/50 ratio of German/international participants of which the majority came from Europe. We also welcomed guests from the USA, Brazil, Japan and India to Berlin so far. 2014 we collected abstracts oft he sessions held during the two days of the barcamp which are published in this journal.
