Topics covered include nanocarbon-NC hybrid synthesis, characterization, properties, and applications in energy and sensing devices. Particularly, the hybrid structure, the advantages of combining nanocarbon with NCs, and the insight into the performance enhancement of nanocarbon-NC devices are discussed in detail. Further development and understanding of nanocarbon-NC hybrids could contribute to addressing challenges for the widespread use of nanocarbon-based sensors and the demand for new energy storage/conversion systems in the future. It is the first book of its kind to provide a comprehensive introduction of nanocarbon-NC hybrids with an emphasis on their use for energy storage/conversion and sensing applications. Combining nanocarbons with NCs provides a viable option to develop novel hybrid nanomaterials for sensors and energy devices.
