This book explains why many of us find it so difficult to forgive, why we should forgive, how to forgive, and why we don't forgive.
This book is unique in that it is about practical spirituality and is written, like Dr. Jampolsky's other books, in very simple, down-to-earth, easy-to-understand language. It explains why many of us find it so difficult to forgive, why we should forgive, how to forgive, and why we don't forgive. Forgiveness also explains how the mind works in this process and points out the toxic, negative side effects of being unforgiving and the havoc it can play on our body and on our life. It also shows the physical and spiritual benefits of forgiving.

The late Gerald G. Jampolsky, MD, author of Forgiveness: The Greatest Healer of All, was an internationally recognized authority in the fields of psychiatry, health, business, and education. Jampolsky was a child and adult psychiatrist, a graduate of Stanford Medical School, an author, and an inspirational speaker. He learned about forgiveness by helping thousands of people for more than thirty years deal with the psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of facing both chronic and life-threatening illnesses. He was the founder of The Center for Attitudinal Healing, of which there are now more than 130 satellite centers around the world, and was the recipient of the Jehan Sadat Peace Award. Jampolsky’s pioneering work at the center eventually led him to consult in Bosnia, Russia, and Ghana on the importance of attitudinal healing and forgiveness. Jampolsky is the author of numerous bestselling books, including Love Is Letting Go of Fear (with over 3.5 million copies in print).   Neale Donald Walsch devotes his time to sharing the messages of his books through writing, lecturing, and facilitating spiritual renewal retreats. The creator of the School of the New Spirituality and founder of The Group of 1000, a nonprofit organization supporting global spiritual awakening, he lives in Ashland, Oregon, and may be contacted through NealeDonaldWalsch.com.
