More recently it has been recorded in art by such as Leonardo da Vinci and other artists to the bafflement of the acknowledged experts. Without a sound comprehension of the methodology of early civilizations graphically and over the landscape as well as on the ground and in contemporary art no progress is possible. But with this specialised understanding there is no limit to the amazing vista that looms within the mind set of such geniuses as Leonardo da Vinci and is portrayed within the pages of this remarkable book. Though Bill Kersey, the author was not around in the those very early days da Vinci and others certainly were. They were at great pains to leave a clear trail for all to see.

Bill Kersey has worked on this project since 1972 and first gazed upon the Mona Lisa at that time. Since then his researches have led him forward by using his numerous skills that he accumulated including REME Armourer with skill as blacksmithing and weaponry. Later mineral exploration and prospecting led to mining gold and other minerals. As a commercial diver, he worked on building the Kariba Dam. His computer skills, developed operating with IBM in the early days produced a sound understanding. He worked on various engineering project such as the Libyan Great Man Made River Project, Channel Tunnel, gas and petrochemical and subsea projects. Latin, French, and Italian language skills acquired in a good education and in the travel industry have proved invaluable together with a sound business background have contributed. Later as an author and publisher he widened his horizon but still cannot knit.
