Dr. Weissweiler is the editor of the original German edition of The Complete Correspondence of Clara and Robert Schumann (Clara/Robert Schumann: Briefwechsel, kritische Gesamtausgabe) 1984, She lives and works in Cologne, Germany. The Translators: Hildegard Fritsch is an associate professor of German at Kent State University. She received her Ph.D. from Case-Western Reserve University. Her publications include a book and articles on topics in 20th-century German literature. Ronald W. Crawford is an associate professor of German at Kent State University. He received his doctorate from Rutgers University and has published a variety of literary and pedagogical studies.
