She is an instructor at the University of Northern Colorado and was previously assistant professor at Hesser College and instructor at various other colleges. She has presented her work at seminars, symposiums, and personal growth retreats. She leads communication workshops on spirituality and sexuality and has published a variety of articles and book chapters.
