The field of electrocardiology is not standing still and therefore in the 14 years since this first edition was published, much has occurred and this new edition is extremely timely.This new edition of this key reference work summarizes the current knowledge of all aspects of theoretical and practical electrocardiology with particular emphasis on the interpretation of the electrocardiogram. The initial volume concentrates on the more theoretical aspects of the topic, as these form the foundations on which further advance is likely to be made. The second and third volumes of the book deal with the more clinical aspects of recording and interpreting the electrocardiogram, with the third volume concentrating on some of the specialized - though no less important - aspects of electrocardiology and electrocardiography.
