Accounting and Finance for Non-Specialists, 13th edition by Peter Atrill and Eddie McLaney is a highly accessible introduction to the principles and practice of accounting and finance, and is the gold standard textbook for anyone studying these subjects as part of a different course. You will explore the major financial statements, what they contain, and why they are useful in business, and will grow an appreciation of the key roles that accounting and finance play in business decision-making.
This easy-to-read textbook will allow you to study techniques widely used in financial accounting, management accounting, and financial management in a single text, laying the foundation for successful business decisions in your future career. It is filled with relevant, real-life examples, helping you understand the relationship between principles and practice and how accounting concepts impact the financial decisions of real businesses.
